Arrive from 4pm, settle into camp, and meet your guide and fellow walkers. After dinner around the fire, we’ll ease into the weekend with a grounding workshop, share intentions, and begin building connection in a safe and supportive space.
Saturday – Skills, Strength & Sisterhood
A full day of hands-on learning and powerful conversations. You’ll explore gear essentials, bush safety and first aid, hygiene and period care, mental resilience, and how to handle emergencies. The day is woven with practical sessions, reflection time, and group connection — all wrapped up with a nourishing fireside dinner and Q&A.
Sunday – Integrate, Reflect & Empower
We dive into nutrition, hydration, and navigating Tasmania’s wilderness safely and respectfully. You’ll also learn about planning your own walks, understanding track gradings, and protecting Tasmania’s unique flora and fauna. We finish with a final circle, celebration, and take-home tools to keep you trail-ready long after the weekend ends.
You’ll be supported throughout the weekend by Rachel — a qualified trainer, experienced facilitator, registered nurse, and bushwalking guide who walks the talk when it comes to safety, strength, and soul-nourishing adventure.

You’ll be supported throughout the weekend by Rachel — a qualified trainer, experienced facilitator, registered nurse, and bushwalking guide who walks the talk when it comes to safety, strength, and soul-nourishing adventure.
All gear is provided (excluding your clothes, boots, and sleeping bag). You’ll have the chance to try out a variety of tents, poles, mattresses, and cooking equipment, giving you hands-on experience with different options and helping you discover what best suits your style and needs.
All meals and snacks are included, featuring a variety of bushwalking-friendly foods. Nutrition is a key part of walking safely, so we’ll explore how to pack lightweight meals that still fuel your body. You’ll taste different options throughout the weekend to help you confidently plan your own trail food in the future.
You’ll also receive a beautifully printed guidebook covering everything we explore and more — so you can relax, stay present, and focus on the experience without needing to remember it all.
You’ll gain access to the Soul Trails "Wondrous & Wild" Women’s Walking Group, with the option to join future free walks where Rachel walks alongside you — not as a teacher, but as part of a growing community of like-minded women walking wild together.
Just $280 for the full weekend — payment plans and support available if cost is a barrier. Let’s talk — there’s always a way to make it work.

Each Soul Trails retreat is uniquely tailored to suit your pace, your goals, and your ideal experience. Whether you're seeking serenity, adventure, connection, or indulgence — the following sample options can be woven into your personalised itinerary.
Coastal Serenity & Indulgence
Begin your curated journey with a scenic transfer from Launceston to Tasmania’s breathtaking northern coastline. One possible walk begins at Badgers Head, where a gentle coastal trail winds through picturesque headlands and into Narawntapu National Park.
After your walk, you might enjoy a local wine and cheese platter, paired with a blue gum-infused foot bath — a restorative ritual to ease your feet and settle into the rhythm of nature.
Nature & Nurture
Enjoy a slow start with an optional relaxation or mindfulness class, setting a calm tone for your day.
Wander to the bird hide, home to a vibrant array of local wildlife, or ascend to Archers Knob to take in expansive views of wetlands and native bush.
Return and depending on the accommodation you chose you may have a choice of luxurious treatments:
• A grounding massage
• An open-air bath beneath the trees
• A peaceful sauna experience
Creative spirits may also wish to join a Sip & Paint session led by a local artist — or simply take time to rest and reflect.
Scenic Heights & Culinary Delights
Another beautiful option includes a relaxed beach walk along Badger Beach, followed by a gentle climb to West Head Lookout, where panoramic views await.
Complete the day with a visit to one of the region’s renowned restaurants, celebrating the best of Tasmanian produce in a slow, nourishing meal shared among new friends.
Each Soul Trails experience is co-created with you — whether you’re travelling solo, in a pair, or with a small group. We’ll work together to shape your journey, choosing locations, accommodations, and activities that speak to your needs and energy.
Let’s build your perfect retreat — wild, grounded, and uniquely yours.

Farm-Fresh Flavours:
Nestled in the heart of Narawntapu, an area renowned for its rich farming heritage, we are surrounded by an abundance of fresh, local produce. Amy carefully selects and supports local farmers, ensuring that each meal embodies the essence of paddock-to-plate. The result? A taste of freshness in every bite.
Nourishing and Wholesome:
With Rachel, a qualified nutritional and environmental nurse, overseeing our menu, every meal is thoughtfully designed to nourish both body and soul. Her expertise extends to even the most carefully curated track lunches. While we focus on fueling the body with wholesome goodness, we also believe that indulgent afternoon teas and decadent desserts are equally essential for nourishing the soul.
Dietary Needs Tailored to You:
We understand that dietary preferences and requirements vary, which is why all our meals can be easily adapted to suit your individual needs. Rest assured, no guest will feel they are missing out or eating something different. Whether you have specific dietary preferences or food allergies, you are in safe hands with us.
At Soul Trails Tasmania, we exist to help women reconnect — with nature, with stillness, and with their own wild strength. Whether you’re joining us on a guided walk or taking part in a Wondrous & Wild workshop, our mission is the same: to create space for rest, renewal, and real connection.
We know how hard it can be to pause in the midst of a busy life. That’s why we take care of the details — so you don’t have to. You can simply show up, breathe deeply, and be present in the moment.
Through our women’s bushwalking programs, we teach practical skills that build confidence and capability on the track — empowering you to walk wondrous and wild, safely and sustainably. We believe in the power of women walking together, not just for adventure, but for transformation.
Our experiences are rooted in respect for the land and its First Peoples, promoting sustainable tourism and treading lightly through Tasmania’s unique and fragile wilderness. Every walk is an invitation to slow down, move mindfully, and feel deeply supported — by nature, by others, and by yourself.

Just an hour from Launceston and 30 minutes from Devonport, it feels like a world away. At Soul Trails, we aim to bring the tranquility of this stunning environment to your feet, with none of the hassle of planning. While Narawntapu may be compact as national parks go, it boasts an impressive array of wildlife. You can expect to encounter a myriad of native species in their natural habitats, and don’t miss the bird hide, where thousands of birds find refuge. Our gentle walks require minimal effort, promising maximum beauty—perfect for all levels of adventurers, so you don’t need to be an Olympic athlete to enjoy the experience!
